The invention relates to a solid oral pharmaceutical composition containing a statin and another antilipidemic agent, to a method for the production of said composition, and to the use of said combination for producing a pharmaceutical formulation that can be used to treat metabolic syndrome, type II diabetes, or other diseases. La invención también se refiere al uso de una combinación farmacéutica formada por atorvastatina y fenofibrato, para preparar un medicamento útil para elevar los niveles de HDL2a y HDL2b, y para disminuir los niveles de HDL3a, HDL3b y HDL3c.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique solide à administration par voie orale qui contient une statine et un autre agent antilipidémique, ainsi quun procédé de préparation de celle-ci et dutilisation de ladite combinaison pour élaborer une formulation pharmaceutique utile dans le traitement du syndrome métabolique, du diabète de type II ou dautres maladies. Linvention porte également sur lutilisation dune combinaison pharmaceutique constituée datorvastatine et de fénofibrate, pour préparer un médicament utile pour élever les niveaux de HDL2a et HDL2b, et pour réduire les niveaux de HDL3a, HDL3b et HDL3c.
