An attachment system for tissue apposition or manipulation and a method of attaching a suture to a tissue for apposition or manipulation of the tissue are provided. The system includes an attachment device (10) including a body (12) having a proximal portion (14) and a distal portion (16). The attachment device further includes a tissue attachment portion (18) operably connected to the distal portion wherein the tissue attachment portion has a shape that is maintained throughout a tissue apposition procedure. The attachment device also includes a suture (22) operably connected to the body and having an unconnected proximal end (25) and a retaining structure (26) at the proximal portion of the body. The retaining structure configured to releasably mate with a complementary retaining structure (32) on a stylet (36).Un système de fixation pour lapposition des tissus ou la manipulation et un procédé de fixation dune suture à un tissu pour lapposition ou la manipulation du tissu sont fournis. Le système comprend un dispositif de fixation (10) comprenant un corps (12) ayant une partie proximale (14) et une partie distale (16). Le dispositif de fixation comprend en outre une partie de fixation de tissu (18) reliée de manière fonctionnelle à la partie distale dans laquelle la partie de fixation de tissu a une forme qui est maintenue tout au long dune procédure dapposition de tissu. Le dispositif de fixation comprend également un fil de suture (22) relié de manière fonctionnelle au corps et ayant une extrémité proximale (25) non connectée et une structure de retenue (26) au niveau de la partie proximale du corps. La structure de retenue étant configurée pour sassembler de façon amovible avec une structure de retenue complémentaire (32) sur un stylet (36).
