The present invention relates to a novel pyrimidine compound, a production method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer and inflammatory diseases containing the same as an active ingredient. The novel pyrimidine compound, according to the present invention, significantly inhibits activities of death-associated protein-kinase-related apoptosis kinase (DRAK) which interferes with signaling of transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta known to inhibit growth of cancer, thereby being applicable as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer. In addition, the novel pyrimidine compound can also be used as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018본 발명은 신규한 피리미딘화합물, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 및 염증질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 신규한 피리미딘화합물은 암성장을 억제하는 것으로 알려진 TGF-β의 신호체계를 방해하는 DRAK의 활성을 현저히 억제하여, 이를 암의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물로 사용할 수 있는 효과가 있으며 염증질환의 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물로 사용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
