The present invention refers to compositions of stabilised effectiveness, with Bacilius thuringiensis strains, resistant to change-out of water, which active principle is a biological control agent effective against mosquito larvae, and the method for obtaining said compositions. The aforementioned compositions comprise two strains of Bacilius thuringiensis, the first being of the var israelensis (NRRL B-50434) type due to the content of Cry genes, and the second being of the var medellin (NRRL B-50435) type due to the content of Cry genes, which are characterised in that they are highly effective in the biological control of mosquito larvae and are stable during all the useful life thereof. The methods allow a bio-insecticide to be obtained with a stabilised effectiveness resistant to the change-out of water. The invention also refers to methods for the biological control of mosquito larvae, disease vectors, which consist in the application of such compositions in water bodies.La presente invención se refiere a composiciones de efectividad estabilizada, con cepas de Bacilius thuringiensis, resistentes al recambio de agua, cuyo principio activo es un agente de control biológico efectivo contra larvas de mosquitos, y a los métodos para obtenerlas. Estas composiciones comprenden dos cepas de Bacillus thuringiensis, una que por el contenido de genes Cry es de tipo var israelensis (NRRL B-50434) y otra que por el contenido de genes Cry es de tipo var medellin (NRRL B-50435), caracterizadas porque presentan alta efectividad en el control biológico de larvas de mosquitos y son estables durante su vida útil. Los métodos permiten obtener un bioinsecticida con efectividad estabilizada resistente al recambio de agua. También se refiere a métodos para el control biológico de larvas de mosquitos, vectores de enfermedades, consistentes en la aplicación de tales composiciones en cuerpos de agua.
