PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for activating a helper T cell using a WT1 peptide and to provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer containing the WT1 peptide and the like.SOLUTION: The method for activating a helper T cell includes a step which adds the WT1 peptide to an antigen presenting cell to activate the helper T cell, wherein the WT1 peptide is a peptide comprising an amino acid sequence comprising any of (1) an amino acid sequence in which one or several amino acids constituting the amino acid sequence of SEQ. ID, NO: 2 (Lys Arg Tyr Phe Lys Leu Ser His Leu Gln Met His Ser Arg Lys His) are substituted, modified or lacked, and (2) an amino acid sequence comprising up to 25 amino acids containing the amino acid sequence of SEQ. ID, NO: 2 (Lys Arg Tyr Phe Lys Leu Ser His Leu Gln Met His Ser Arg Lys His), the WT1 peptide is bonded with any of an HLA-DRB1*1501 molecule, HLA-DPB1*0901 molecule and HLA-DPB1*0501 molecule, and the antigen presenting cell is originated from any of an HLA-DRB1*1501 positive object, HLA-DPB1*0901 positive object and HLA-DPB1*0501 positive object.【課題】 ＷＴ１ペプチドを用いてヘルパーＴ細胞を活性化する方法、ＷＴ１ペプチドを含む癌の治療用医薬組成物などを提供する。【解決手段】 ＷＴ１ペプチドを抗原提示細胞に添加して、ヘルパーＴ細胞を活性化する工程を含む、ヘルパーＴ細胞の活性化方法であって、該ＷＴ１ペプチドが以下の（１）、（２）のいずれかのアミノ酸配列： （１）配列番号：２のアミノ酸配列（Ｌｙｓ Ａｒｇ Ｔｙｒ Ｐｈｅ Ｌｙｓ Ｌｅｕ Ｓｅｒ Ｈｉｓ Ｌｅｕ Ｇｌｎ Ｍｅｔ Ｈｉｓ Ｓｅｒ Ａｒｇ Ｌｙｓ Ｈｉｓ）を構成する１個ないし数個のアミノ酸が置換、修飾または欠失されたアミノ酸配列、 （２）配列番号：２のアミノ酸配列（Ｌｙｓ Ａｒｇ Ｔｙｒ Ｐｈｅ Ｌｙｓ Ｌｅｕ Ｓｅｒ Ｈｉｓ Ｌｅｕ Ｇｌｎ Ｍｅｔ Ｈｉｓ Ｓｅｒ Ａｒｇ Ｌｙｓ Ｈｉｓ）を含む２５個までのアミノ酸からなるアミノ酸配列からなるペプチドであり、該ＷＴ１ペプチドはＨＬＡ－ＤＲＢ１＊１５０１分子、ＨＬＡ－ＤＰＢ１＊０９０１分子またはＨＬＡ－ＤＰＢ１＊０５０１分子のいずれかに結合するものであり、該抗原提示細胞がＨＬＡ－ＤＲＢ１＊１５０１陽性対象、ＨＬＡ－ＤＰＢ１＊０９０１陽性対象またはＨＬＡ－ＤＰＢ１＊０５０１陽性対象のいずれかに由来するものである、方法。【選択図】なし
