The invention relates to medicine and can be used in surgery, including cosmetic surgery, for example for treating trophic and persistent ulcers, pressure sores, burns, scars, etc., and also for the purpose of rejuvenating biological tissues, inter alia skin, in different locations. Proposed is a method for the renewal of biological tissues with the restoration of the functional properties, characteristics and structure thereof, in which the tissues are subjected to a predetermined degree of mechanical traumatization through the creation, in given areas, of at least one region of interference between acoustic waves emanating from at least two sources and propagating in the tissues which are to be renewed, with the possibility of the subsequent natural regeneration of the biological tissues concerned in the aforesaid areas. Also proposed are various embodiments of a device for the implementation of the above method.
