PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicidal composition which has a wider herbicidal spectrum, has high activity and also has a long sustained effect since, though many herbicidal compositions have been developed and used at present, in weeds as the objects for controlling, there are many kinds and their generations extend over a long period as well.SOLUTION: The herbicidal composition comprises 1-(4, 6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yl)-3-(3-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridylsulfonyl)urea or its salt and N-(1-ethylpropyl)-2, 6-dinitro-3, 4-xylidine or its salt in their synergistic effective amounts.
