PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle room lamp which can improve design performance irrespective of the lighting and non-lighting of a light source.SOLUTION: In a vehicle room lamp 1, an LED 34 is covered with a lens 3 having light permeability from the inside of a cabin. Two decorative portions 21 for decorating the lens 3 are formed at the lens 3 by processing which lowers the light permeability of the lens 3. A housing 2 fit with the lens 3 integrally has a main body part 11 which holds the LED 34 via a base board 33, and a peripheral wall part 12 which protrudes from a peripheral edge of the main body part 11 toward the inside of the cabin. Then, a clearance 19 is formed between the peripheral wall part 12 and the lens 3, and light is leaked into the cabin from the clearance 19 at the lighting of the LED 34. The two decorative portions 21 form a band annular shape extending over the whole periphery of the lens 3 with a width D1 which is substantially the same as the clearance 19 in a plane view.SELE
