The invention relates to a method for the production of vegetable dust for use in food and plant protection, preferably vegetable dust obtained from plants from the Brassicaceae (crucifers) family. The invention also relates to vegetable dust obtained using the method of the invention and to the use of said vegetable dust in food and for plant protection as a plant insecticide and herbicide.
