PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection accuracy of the feature point of the site that is required to be photographed.SOLUTION: The correlation Rg of the data on each of lines L1-Ln of a subject 12 and template data DT is calculated, and a position in which the correlation Rg becomes more than a predetermined value is detected. When the position is detected, the position in which the coordinate value of an SI direction becomes a mean value is selected from among the positions, and this position is assumed to be a candidate point to detect the position of the SI direction of the upper end of a liver.
