PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rod body capable of preventing degradation of strength of a female screw part and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The rod body formed by heating and firing and formed with a female screw part 2 on an inner peripheral surface includes an inner layer 10 having a reinforced fiber and a main layer 11 located on an outside of the inner layer 10 and having a main layer 11 having the reinforced fiber. The female screw part 2 is formed by molding and the inner layer 10 is irregularly deformed in a radial direction corresponding to a crest part 2a and a trough part 2b of the female screw part 2. A resin reservoir part 20 is formed at a place between the main layer 11 and the inner layer 10 and corresponding to the crest part 2a of the female screw part 2.
