The present invention provides a composition for treating a wound. The composition includes an extract of honeysuckle or Lonicera japonica which has an effect of treating a wound and contains one selected from a honeysuckle extract or a Lonicera japonica extract as an active ingredient. The composition increases expression of aquaporin-3 protein and thus can be used to provide a skin external application having an effect of treating a wound.
