In various embodiments, the present invention provides methods and compositionsfor treatment of autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, forexample comprising administering to a patient in need of such treatment a TACI-Igfusion molecule. In one embodiment, the TACI-Ig fusion molecule is administeredin amount sufficient to slow, suppress or inhibit proliferation-inducing functionsof BIyS and APRIL.
