It is an object of the present invention to provide improved pharmacological properties to molecules which bind to a target with low affinity (hereinafter referred to as a &ldquo；ligand moiety&rdquo；) through linkage of such molecules to a metal binding moiety, thereby generating a combination molecule commonly referred to as a &ldquo；metallodrug&rdquo； or &ldquo；metallotherapeutic.&rdquo； The metal binding domain of metallodrugs typically catalyzes oxido-reductase chemistry or acts as a Lewis-Acid catalyst, resulting in modification of proteins and nucleic acids that are in close proximity due to binding of the ligand moiety to its target.本発明の目的は、低い親和性で標的と結合する分子（以下、「リガンド部分」と呼ぶ）を金属結合部分と結合させその分子の薬理学的特性を向上させることにより、一般に「金属製剤」または「金属治療薬」と呼ばれる複合分子を作製することである。金属製剤の金属結合ドメインは典型的には、酸化還元酵素反応を触媒するか、Ｌｅｗｉｓ酸触媒として働くことにより、リガンド部分とその標的との結合により接近したタンパク質および核酸の修飾をもたらす。【選択図】なし
