Methods of reducing scleral chondrogensis, reducing one or more ocular chondrogenic proteins, reducing inflammation induced chondrogensis and treating myopia by administering an effective amount of one or more anti-chondrogensis agents are also provided. The pharmaceutical compositions are useful for treating myopia.
