The connector has annular isolation elements (220) to isolate electrical contact elements (210). Each isolation element has an annular flexible seal with two lateral sides and an external annular side arranged against an internal annular side in an internal region of an annular rigid sleeve of the isolation element. Each lateral side of the seal projects with respect to lateral sides of the sleeve. The sleeve and the seal have mating surface profiles defined on the internal side of the sleeve and the external side of the seal to immobilize the seal relative to the sleeve in an axial direction. The electrical contact elements comprise a cage housing a resilient contact that is made from a flat sheet of resilient metal.
