PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the skin preparation for external use having excellent occlusive property, that provides smooth touch without being clammy and excellent compatibility with skin.SOLUTION: There is provided the skin preparation for external use, which contains the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl or alkenyl ether that has an alkyl group or alkenyl group with 20-24 carbon atoms, while having an average mole number of added ethylene oxide of 1.5-4 (B) a water-soluble polymer and (C) a skin activating ingredient.
