A biopesticide composition and method of treating plants or plant components comprising a first component having bacillus and a second component having a polysaccharide. Preferably, the bacillus strain is Bacillus chitinosporus. In combination, the biopesticide composition can be applied to plants to minimize or prevent plant diseases associated with nematodes.
