PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA having a promotor activity bringing a leaf specific expression, a recombinant plasmid containing the DNA and enabling the expression of an objective gene as leaf specific, and a transformed plant body introduced with the recombinant vector. SOLUTION: This DNA can function as a promotor shown in the following (a), (b) or (c). (a) A DNA consists of a specific base sequence derived from rice, (b) A DNA consists of a base sequence obtained by deleting, substituting or adding one or several bases in the DNA derived from the rice and having the promotor activity for bringing the leaf specific expression.
