PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method for containers by which the preparation of an exceptionally controlled environment for the storage of a sterilizing agent is not required, and in addition, the transport cost relating to the sterilizing agent can be suppressed.SOLUTION: In the sterilization method, a sodium percarbonate is used as the material for the sterilizing agent. The sodium percarbonate is an alkaline granular powder containing a hydrogen peroxide adduct of a sodium carbonate as the major component, and is stable at the normal temperature. When the stable sodium percarbonate is conserved along with an aseptic machine, and a container is sterilization-treated, the sterilizing agent is obtained by dissolving the sodium percarbonate with an aseptic water. When dissolved with water, the sodium percarbonate turns into hydrogen peroxide and the sodium carbonate on a hydrolysis. The generated hydrogen peroxide has conventionally been used as a sterilizing agent, and the sterilizing agent in the sterilization method can demonstrate the same sterilizing capability as conventional ones. The sterilizing agent made of the hydrogen peroxide and the sodium carbonate is fed to required places of the container to be sterilized.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】殺菌剤を保存するのに格別に制御された環境を用意する必要がなく、かつ、殺菌剤についての輸送コストを抑えることのできる容器の殺菌方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、過炭酸ソーダを殺菌剤の原料として用いる。過炭酸ソーダは、炭酸ソーダの過酸化水素付加化合物を主成分とする常温で安定なアルカリ性の粒状粉体である。この安定な過炭酸ソーダを無菌充填機に付随して保存し、容器を殺菌処理する際に、無菌水に過炭酸ソーダを溶解して殺菌剤を得る。過炭酸ソーダが水に溶解すると、加水分解して過酸化水素と炭酸ソーダになる。生成される過酸化水素は、殺菌剤として従来から用いられており、本発明による殺菌剤もこれまでと同様の殺菌能力を示すことができる。過酸化水素と炭酸ソーダからなる殺菌剤は、殺菌対象である容器の必要な箇所に供給される。【選択図】図2
