A garment is provided which comprises (a) a first portion constructed from stretchable material that is form fitting to a users physique and that extends across any of the following body segments of the user the collar bone, the neck, the upper spine, the armpit area and (b) a cooling composition disposed in said first portion, said cooling composition comprising a material that may or may not undergo a phase change to apply a cooling effect to the collar bone area of the user.
