In oneembodiment, the composition is a topical compositioncomprising about 60% calendula extract, about 20% yarrow extract, about 10%plantain extract, and about 10% wild rose extract. The composition can furtherinclude additional ingredients such as a pharmaceutically acceptable carrierand at least one agent selected from sunscreens, anti-aging agents,chemotherapeutic agents, chemopreventive agents, other wound-healingagents, anti-cellulite agents, pigment modulating agents, anti-irritationagents,steroids, anti-inflammatory agents, anti-fungal agents, anti-bacterial agents,moisturizing agents, emollients, anesthetics, anti-viral agents, vitamins,essential amino acids, coloring agents, fragrances, essential fatty acids,anti-fungalagents, anti-bacterial agents, anesthetics, and anti-viral agents. Thetopical compositions of the present application are useful in promoting woundhealing.
