An aqueous deodorising cosmetic agent which contains at least one quaternary ammonium compound, such as behentrimonium chloride, centrimonium bromide, centrimonium chloride, laurtrimonium bromide, laurtrimonium chloride, steartrimonium bromide, steartrimonium chloride, benzethonium chloride, benzalkonium chloride and mixtures thereof, and triethyl citrate； wherein the deodorising cosmetic agent contains no aluminum-containing compounds. Also disclosed is use of the aforementioned deodorising cosmetic agent.
