PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window plate unit for monitoring booths which enables a monitor to sight a person to be monitored, while making the persons to be monitored unable to sight each other, and also enables changeover of states of the monitor being able to sight and being unable to sight.SOLUTION: The window plate unit 1 for the monitoring booths includes a first window plate 10a which is installed between the monitoring booth B and a first booth A to be monitored and a second window plate 10b which is installed between the monitoring booth B and a second booth C to be monitored and is opposed to the first window plate 10a. The first window plate 10a has a first window plate body 11a, and a first polarization layer 13a and a first half mirror layer 12a which are provided in the first window plate body 11a.
