PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic preparation containing an active ingredient which protects the skin from external environment factors, such as ultraviolet rays, while being derived from natural products, having an excellent biosafety, and having a skin-beautifying and whitening effect which can maintain the skin in a youthful healthy condition or improve it.SOLUTION: A cosmetic preparation is obtained from Rosa damascena of Rosaceae Rosa, and contains as an active ingredient an extract having an antioxidant effect, an antiinflammatory effect, and a whitening effect.
