The present disclosure provides a safety plate for a brush cutter capable of easily discharging foreign substances, the safety plate being installed at a lower part of the brush cutter and having a concave portion at the boundary thereof. When two virtual lines connecting the center point of the concave portion of the safety plate with both outer ends of protruding portions positioned at both sides of the center point, an angle between the two virtual lines is designed to become an obtuse angle which is greater than a right angle but smaller than straight angle. The brush cutter can easily discharge un-cuttable foreign substances such as a wire, which are induced during grass cutting, by letting the foreign substances get out from the concave portion through lateral sides of the protruding portions having a shallow angle, while preventing the foreign substances from being stuck between the blade and the lateral sides of the protruding portions. According to the above configuration, it is possible to prevent rotation of the blade from stopping, or the safety plate from being broken or damaged by shock from striking of the foreign substances, and thus unnecessary interruptions to grass cutting and malfunction of the brush cutter can be minimized.본 발명은 예초 칼날의 보호를 위해 예초기의 하부에는 안전판이 설치되고 상기 안전판의 외측에는 오목부가 형성되는 예초기용 안전판에 있어서, 상기 안전판의 오목부 중심점과 상기 중심점의 양쪽에 위치하는 돌출부의 바깥쪽 양 끝단을 가상선으로 연결하였을 때 상기 가상선과 가상선 사이의 각이 직각보다 크고 평각보다는 작은 둔각이 되도록 구성되는 이물질의 배출이 용이한 예초기용 안전판을 제공하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명은 예초 칼날의 보호를 위해 예초기의 하부에 형성되는 안전판의 오목부, 즉 돌출부와 돌출부 사이가 둔각이 되도록 형성함으로써 상기 오목부로 유입되는 잡풀들의 컷팅과정에서 철사와 같은 쉽게 잘리지 않는 이물질이 유입되었다 하더라도 상기 이물질이 예초칼날과 돌출부 측면 사이에 끼지 않고 완만한 각도를 갖는 돌출부의 측면에 의해 그대로 오목부를 빗겨 빠져나가도록 함으로써 칼날의 회전이 중지되거나 이물질이 부딪치는 충격에 의해 안전판이 훼손되거나 파손되는 것을 방지함으로써 불필요하게 예초작업이 중단되는 것을 최소화하고, 예초기의 고장을 최소화할 수 있는 매우 유용한 발명인 것이다.
