PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cytoprotective agents containing a γ-glutamic-acid oligomer that protects cells from formyl group-containing substances, such as 2.4-nonadienal, 2-hydroxynonenal, and acrolein, which cause carbonylation and/or oxidation denaturation mainly to proteins, and oxidation disorders to the various biogenic components including lipids and nucleic acids and to provide external preparations for anti-skin-aging that contain the cytoprotective agents.SOLUTION: By including a γ-glutamic acid oligomer obtained by hydrolysis of γ-polyglutamic acid, as a cytoprotective agent of protecting cells from a carbonyl compound mainly composed of a formyl group, cells can be protected from disorders caused by formyl group-containing substances, such as 2.4-nonadienal, 2-hydroxynonenal, and acrolein, which generate in vivo or in an environment.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】主としてタンパク質へのカルボニル化・酸化変性、および、脂質・核酸を含む各種生体成分への酸化障害を起こす2.4-ノナジエナール、2-ヒドロキシノネナールやアクロレインなどのフォルミル基含有物質から細胞を保護するγ-グルタミン酸オリゴマーを含有する細胞保護剤。そして、その細胞保護剤を含有する皮膚抗老化外用剤の提供を課題とする。【解決手段】フォルミル基を主とするカルボニル化合物からの細胞保護剤として、γ-ポリグルタミン酸の加水分解で得られるγ-グルタミン酸オリゴマーを含有させることで、生体内や環境中で発生した2.4-ノナジエナール、2-ヒドロキシノネナールやアクロレインなどのフォルミル基含有物質が原因となる障害から細胞を守る。【選択図】なし
