Provided is a bioabsorbable stent which is formed from a magnesium alloy that does not contain a rare earth element and aluminum. A bioabsorbable stent which has a core structure that is formed from a magnesium alloy which is mainly composed of 90% by mass or more of magnesium, while containing zinc, zirconium and manganese as minor components and without containing a rare earth element and aluminum. This bioabsorbable stent is provided with: a first anti-corrosion layer which is formed on the core structure that is formed of the magnesium alloy, and which is mainly composed of magnesium fluoride; and a second anti-corrosion layer which is formed on the first anti-corrosion layer, and which is formed from a parylene. Also provided is a method for producing this bioabsorbable stent.
