The present invention provides a process of seed coating with dormant microorganisms, comprising the steps of: forming dormant stage of microorganism in liquid as well as wettable powder formulation after adding preservatives and stickers into the liquid dormant microorganism addition of sticker polymer on the seeds coating of seeds with microorganisms mixed with preservatives in liquid as well as wettable powder formulation and drying of coated seeds to maintain the seed shelf life.
