PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device for providing a guidance customized for each user in advance to reduce errors in authentication.SOLUTION: The biometric authentication device is provided with: biometrics registration authentication information 401 and error factor data 402 recorded in advance in an IC card 212 for each user a biometrics reading authentication device 228 for acquiring user biometrics reading authentication information 405 a plurality of pieces of error prevention guidance information 403 stored in a recording apparatus a display means 220 for displaying the error prevention guidance information 403 and a control apparatus 229.
