PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging device that can prevent a solid medicine from bouncing.SOLUTION: A medicine packaging device for packaging a medicine on the basis of prescription data comprises: a feeding part that drops and feeds a solid medicine； a retention part that receives and temporarily retains the solid medicine dropped and fed from the feeding part； and a packaging part that packages the solid medicine discharged from the retention part. The retention part comprises a retention container 33 that has an openable and closable bottom 333, and the bottom 333 comprises a receiving portion 3331 for receiving the solid medicine dropped and fed from the feeding part.
