PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical volatilizing container which can surely fix a pedestal part and a lid part to each other.SOLUTION: A chemical volatilizing container includes: a lid part 4 which has a space 40 capable of storing a chemical 2 therein and opening at the lower end thereof and a volatilization hole 42 in a peripheral wall 41 thereof a pedestal part 7 which mounts the chemical 2 thereon and closes the lower end opening of the lid part 4 having stored the chemical 2 and a ring-shaped member 5 which is engaged with the peripheral edge of the pedestal part 7 to fix the lid part 4 on the pedestal part 7. The peripheral edge of the lower end opening of the lid part 4 is provided with a flange part 45. The flange part 45 is held from above and below by the ring-shaped member 5 and the upper surface of the pedestal part 7. A holding support post 73 of the pedestal part 7 is provided with a communication part 38 which communicates the inside and the outside of the storage space 40 of the lip part 4. The upper surface of the pedestal part 7 is provided with a ring-shaped packing 70 on the periphery of a weir part 36. When the ring-shaped member 5 is engaged with the pedestal part 7, the lower end of the ring-shaped member 5 projects downward from the lower end part of the pedestal part 7.
