The present invention relates to nicotine-substituting therapy as soft pastilles and a process for the preparation thereof. The pastille comprises based on the mass of the pastille: a nicotine active in an amount of about 0,05 to about 1% a gelling agent (thickener) in an amount of about 5 to about 40% plasticizer in an amount of about 30 to about 70% sweetener in an amount of about 0,05 to about 10% releasing agent in an amount of about 0,5 to about 30% preservative in an amount of about 0,05 to about 2% flavoring agent in an amount of about 0,01 to about 5% water in an amount of about 5 to about 20%. The pastilles is prepared by introducing glycirine as a plasticizer and water to a reactor followed by adding a gelatin and lecithin as a releasing agent to form a first mixture adding a nicotine agent to the mixture and mixing for about 30 to about 45 minutes at 1500 rpm to form a second mixture incorporating adequate quantities of the sweetener, the flavoring agent, color and the preservative into the second mixture to obtain a homogeneous mass collecting the mass in a container followed by cooling and solidification transferring the solidified mass into a melter to obtain a melted mass passing the melted mass through an injector in the preformed cavities followed by cooling and blister packaging. The obtained pastilles have pleasant flavoring features, provide durable and uniform controlled nicotine release with no such side effects as nausea and unpleasant after taste in the mouth and heartburn.Данное изобретение относится к препарату для никотинзамещающей терапии в виде мягкой пастилки и к способу его получения.
