PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the surgery time of the art of the bone development of a dental implant treatment, to decrease the risk of a postsurgical infection, and to enable to surely perform a beautiful bone development.SOLUTION: A protection device is manufactured by using an RP technique based on the CT data of a patient. The protection device has a first side wall 2, a second side wall 3, and an upper wall 4 that connects the first and second side walls, makes a plate shape of the cross-section of a substantially U character shape or C character shape or sideways U character shape that opens downward, and has a shape corresponding to a three dimension surface shape at the restoration of the site to which the bone is developed. The site to which the bone is developed can be accommodated in a channel 5 formed inside the first side wall, the second side wall, and the upper wall, a peripheral edge 8 is framed smoothly, and a through-hole 6 is formed with a prescribed porosity in the first side wall, the second side wall, and the upper wall. An inserting hole 7 of a screw is disposed in the lower end of the first or the second side wall.
