The present invention relates to a fused aminodihydrothiazine derivative of formula (I): wherein X is hydrogen or fluorine； R is monofluoromethyl or difluoromethyl； and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof； which compound has an A&bgr； production inhibitory effect or a BACE1 inhibitory effect and is useful as a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for a neurodegenerative disease caused by A&bgr； and typified by Alzheimer-type dementia.本発明は、Ｘが水素又はフッ素であり；Ｒがモノフルオロメチル又はジフルオロメチルである式（Ｉ）の縮合アミノジヒドロチアジン誘導体及び薬学的に許容されるその塩に関する。この化合物は、Ａβ産生阻害効果又はＢＡＣＥ１阻害効果を有しており、アルツハイマー型認知症に代表されるＡβによって引き起こされる神経変性疾患のための予防剤又は治療剤として有用である。
