The allyl isothiocyanate (AITC), composed the majority of the mustard seed, has been much studied as its antineoplastic activity, especially for cancer of the bladder.However, it is known that this substance may be potentially irritating orally.Thus, the purpose of this invention is to convey the AITC in the micellar system term reversible P407 (SM - AITC) and obtain the compositions of low cost, allowing for the broad application of AITC.In vitro experiments using cells of human bladder carcinoma showed that the compositions of SM AITC has expanded the cytotoxic effects and inhibition of cellular proliferation of AITC.Thus, the use of compositions of SM AITC in oral or parenteral chemotherapy of cancer, preferentially to cancer of the bladder improves the effectiveness of AITC free.With the possibility of direct AITC to the bladder, since P407 is preferentially eliminated via the urine.In the oral chemotherapy of cancer, preferentially to cancer of the bladder, the compositions of SM AITC, may reduce the toxicity of AITC in the buccal mucosa and upper gastrointestinal tract.Thus, the results suggest that the SM AITC compositions can be used as a final composition or intermediate in the production of other compositions for cancer treatment.Preferably the cancer of the bladder.o alil isotiocianato (aitc), composto majoritário da semente de mostarda, vem sendo bastante estudado quanto a sua atividade antineoplásica, principalmente para o câncer de bexiga. entretanto, sabe-se que essa substância pode ser potencialmente irritante por via oral. assim, o propósito desta invenção foi veicular o aitc ao sistema micelar termo reversível de p407 (sm-aitc) e se obter composições de baixo custo, que permitam a ampla aplicação do aitc. experimentos in vitro, utilizando células de carcinoma de bexiga humano, mostraram que as composições de sm-aitc potencializaram os efeitos citotóxicos e de inibição da proliferação celular do aitc. assim, a utilização de composições de sm-aitc na
