PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of accurately measuring bone strength by accurately measuring time of an ultrasonic wave passing through the inside of a specimen and arrival speed of the ultrasonic wave.SOLUTION: A bone strength measurement apparatus 1 comprises: a contact body 3 with which a finger of a subject come into contact a press part 4 which faces the contact body 3 across the finger and holds the finger between the contact body 3 and the press part 4 a transmitter 30 which is provided in at least either the contact body 3 or the press part 4 and emits an ultrasonic wave to the finger, and a receiver 40 which receives the ultrasonic wave passing through the finger from the transmitter and a controller 10 which is connected to the transmitter 30 and the receiver 40, calculates arrival speed of the ultrasonic wave emitted from the transmitter 30 and arriving at the receiver 40 passing through the inside of the finger, and calculates bone strength of the finger on the basis of the arrival speed.
