PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel nasotracheal tube distal end position confirmation device and a nasotracheal tube distal end position confirmation method using the same which allow for safely and reliably confirming whether a nasotracheal tube has arrived or not at the stomach.SOLUTION: The nasotracheal tube distal end position confirmation device comprises: a casing constituting a nearly airtight space a connection unit which communicates with the outside from the casing and is connected to the base end of a nasotracheal tube 6 to be inserted to the inside of the body of a patient P a sensor element disposed within the casing an electronic circuit for outputting an electric signal of air pressure variation which is received by the sensor element and display means 5 which receives the output from the electronic circuit and displays the air pressure variation in a recognizable state.
