PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter connector enabling easily and surely removing a catheter from a connector in the connector detachably connecting the terminal part of the catheter with simple operation.SOLUTION: A catheter connector is constituted of: a tightening ring 4 comprising a rubber elastic member including a through hole to insert a catheter into; a connector body 1 including a cylinder part 12 for storing the tightening ring in the lumen; a connector cap 2 assembled with the connector body in a form of pinching the tightening ring together with the connector body; and slide means for sliding the connector cap to the connector body in an axial direction, pressing to the tightening ring, and releasing the pressing. A plurality of recessed strip grooves 19 parallel in the axial direction are provided on a distal side wall surface in the cylinder part lumen of the connector body, and on the other hand, recessed strip grooves are not provided on a proximal side wall surface.
