W platformie na dwóch równoległych do siebie prowadnicach (2) ustawione są obok siebie dwie płyty pomiarowe (1). Każda z płyt pomiarowych (1) ma w narożach umieszczone czujniki pomiarowe (3). Każda z płyt pomiarowych (1) ma kalibrator do ustawiania stopy w stałym położeniu, którym jest listwa (4), przesuwna w stosunku do płyty pomiarowej (1) w kierunku prostopadłym do prowadnic. Platforma ma też zestaw trzech diod (5), służących do sygnalizacji poprawnego umieszczenia stóp na płytach pomiarowych (1).
