PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electronic endoscope system and an operation condition setting method therefor which enable a user to set, by a simple and short-time operation, an optimal image output parameter for a peripheral device selectively connected with a processor to output a real image, according to each peripheral device.SOLUTION: A plurality of peripheral devices each comprise a radio transmission unit which transmits its identification information. An electronic endoscope comprises a radio reception unit which receives identification information of a peripheral device transmitted by the radio transmission unit.
