A belt conveyor apparatus includes a tube sloping from a hopper at the lowerintake. Abelt passes along a floor of the hopper then up through the tube. The hopperfloor hasedge portions curving upward such that as the belt moves along the floor, sideportions ofthe belt curve upward. Hopper sidewalls extend upward and outward from bottominneredges thereof located above right and left sides of the middle portion of thebelt, andouter edges of the belt are thus located under the sidewalls. Seal strips areto thesidewalls with lower edges sealing to right and left sides of the middleportion of the beltsuch that pockets are formed under the sidewalls between the curved sideportions of thebelt and the seal strips. A trap opening in the tube also allows oilseeds todrop out of thetube from under the belt.
