In the event of bone fractures, in particular comminuted fractures, having multiple bone fracture pieces, a quick and safe operation can be possible when implements (1) are used for stabilising the affected bone (6). The main body (2) of these implements is an angle profile (15), wherein long recesses (17-19) are provided in the plate side pieces (10, 11). This facilitates any bending that may become necessary about the longitudinal axis (9) and the transverse axis (16). In this way, it is possible to achieve a high level of stability for the operated region, in order to guarantee an early functional exercising of the neighbouring joints without risking the bone fragments shifting again.
