A hair care composition comprising: (i) an agent that increases the diameter of the hair comprising a xanthine compound, a vitamin B3 compound, and a panthenol compound； and (ii) a vehicle comprising water and monohydric alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms； wherein monohydroxylated alcohol is present in the composition at a weight level of 30% to 90%. wherein said xanthine compound is selected from caffeine xanthine, 1-methyl xanthine, theophylline, theobromine, and mixtures thereof； wherein said vitamin B3 compound is selected from niacinamide and salts thereof, nicotinic acid and salts thereof, nicotinyl alcohol and salts thereof, nicotinic acid esters, nicotinyl amino acids, carboxylic acid nicotinyl alcohol esters, N- nicotinic acid oxide, niacinamide N-oxide, and mixtures thereof； wherein said panthenol compound is selected from D-panthenol, DL-panthenol, panthenyl triacetate, panthetin, pantothein, ethyl panthenyl ether, panthoyl lactose, ethyl panthenol, and mixtures thereof； wherein the composition further comprises a thickener which is a non-cellulose based amphiphilic polymer； wherein the composition further comprises a substantially soluble silicone conditioning agent that is a substantially soluble silicone copolyol conditioning agent； wherein the composition includes 0.1% or less by weight of substantially insoluble oily compounds.Una composición para el cuidado del cabello que comprende: (i) un agente que aumenta el diámetro del cabello que comprende un compuesto de xantina, un compuesto de vitamina B3, y un compuesto de pantenol； y (ii) un vehículo que comprende agua y alcoholes monohidroxilados que tienen 1 a 6 átomos de carbono； en donde el alcohol monohidroxilado está presente en la composición a un nivel de peso de 30 % a 90 %. en donde dicho compuesto de xantina se selecciona de cafeína xantina, 1-metil xantina, teofilina, teobromina, y mezclas de las mismas； en donde dicho compuesto de vitamina B3 se selecciona de niacinamida y sales de la misma
