Methods and devices for orally administering fluids and medical instrumentation to individuals for the promotion of health are disclosed. An apparatus is described comprising a nipple base, a passage extending through the nipple base, and a nipple, integrally formed with, and extending proximally from, the nipple base. The nipple is defined by a contoured nipple wall having a nipple aperture disposed on a proximal end of the nipple wall. There is a receiving tube extending through the nipple and the passage. The receiving tube terminates at the nipple aperture which is offset from a central axis of the nipple, in certain embodiments, along an axis that forms an angle between 1° and 120° with a central axis of the nipple. The receiving tube is disposed along a longitudinal axis that is offset from the central axis. The nipple, the nipple base, and the receiving tube form a unitary monolithic body.
