PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tape which can restrain or prevent the adherable side of the fastening tape from carelessly adhering to sheet members and a wearers clothing or the like and is easy to handle when the tape is not used or an absorbent article or a cover for the absorbent article is changed, the absorbent article using the same, and the cover for the absorbent article in consideration of the foregoing.
SOLUTION: The fastening tape has the base material sheets and a fastener having the adherable side. The fastening tape makes one edge side a fixing base portion side, and is overlappingly attached to the side edge portion of the absorbent article or the cover for the absorbent article in the fixing base portion side area including at least a part of the fastener, and the other edge side of the fastening tape is a free end not overlapping the side edge portion. In the fastening tape, the ends of the base material sheets extending outward from the side edge portion of the absorbent article or the cover for the absorbent article are folded beyond the internal end of the fastener having the adherable side.
