This production line (12), adapted for the production of medicinal products comprising at least one active principle, comprises an extruder (20) for producing an extrudate from the active ingredient and at least one excipient intended to form an encapsulation matrix of the active ingredient and a member (24) for cooling the extrudate at the outlet of the extruder (20). The extruder (20) comprises a sheath (30) and at least two parallel screws (32) housed in the sheath (30) and interpenetrating each other for mixing the or each active ingredient with the or each excipient. The sheath (30) is oriented substantially vertically and the floor area occupied by the production line (12) is less than 0.5 m.Cette ligne de production (12), adaptée pour la production de médicaments comprenant au moins un principe actif, comporte une extrudeuse (20) pour la production d'un extrudat à partir du principe actif et d'au moins un excipient destiné à former une matrice d'encapsulation du principe actif et un organe (24) de refroidissement de l'extrudat en sortie de l'extrudeuse (20).
