PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic surgical clip applier.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for application of surgical clips to body tissue has a handle portion 12 and a body 14 extending distally from the handle portion 12 and defining a longitudinal axis. The apparatus 10 also has a plurality of surgical clips disposed within the body 14, and a jaw assembly 16 mounted adjacent a distal end portion of the body 14. The jaw assembly 16 includes first and second jaw portions movable between a spaced-apart position and an approximated position.
