PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the operability of an automated external defibrillator installed in a vending machine.SOLUTION: This vending machine has a lighting system for illuminating its front face or product samples, which lighting system can be turned on or off according to predetermined conditions. The vending machine has an automated external defibrillator.
