Disclosed is a method for preparing an anti-obesity composition by using astringent persimmons and mandarin peels, the composition being capable of reducing fat absorption by reducing the activity of pancreatic lipase, thereby having effects such as weight loss, a reduction of TC, TG, and LDL cholesterol, and a reduction of visceral fat. Provided in the present invention is a method for preparing an anti-obesity composition by using astringent persimmons and mandarin peels, comprising the steps of: (a) adding a solvent to astringent persimmons and mandarin peels and then heating the same; (b) degrading the extracted solution by using an enzyme; and (c) filtering the enzyme-degraded solution and then concentrating the same.
